Service Description

A seasonal detox is a wonderful way to align your body and mind with the rhythms of nature and help reset your system. As we move from one season to the next, it’s a great opportunity to cleanse and refresh, giving your body a chance to release accumulated toxins and regain vitality. In the context of Hatha Yoga and holistic wellness, a seasonal detox can include both physical and mental practices. Here are some key components of a seasonal detox: 1. Dietary Changes: • Eating with the seasons: In the spring and summer, focus on lighter, fresher foods—think leafy greens, fruits, and vegetables. In the colder months, opt for warming, grounding foods like root vegetables, soups, and stews. • Hydration: Staying hydrated with water, herbal teas, or infused water helps flush toxins from your body. • Eliminating processed foods: Cutting back on sugar, caffeine, and processed foods can give your digestive system a break and allow it to function more efficiently. 2. Yoga & Movement: • Detoxifying Poses: Certain yoga postures, like twists, forward folds, and backbends, help stimulate the digestive system and encourage the removal of toxins from the body. • Pranayama (Breathing Exercises): Practices like alternate nostril breathing can help clear the mind and improve energy flow. • Gentle Flow: During a detox, you might want to balance intense activity with restorative poses, promoting deep relaxation and aiding the body's natural detox process. 3. Mindfulness & Meditation: • Mindful Eating: Tune into how your body feels as you eat and chew your food slowly. This not only aids digestion but also enhances your connection to your body. • Journaling or Reflection: Detoxing isn’t only about the physical body—taking time to reflect on your emotional and mental well-being can help release mental clutter and negativity. A regular mindfulness practice helps to reduce stress and cultivate balance. 4. Self-Care Practices: • Self-Massage: In Ayurveda, warm oil massage helps to soothe the body • Tongue Scaping: Scraping your tongue helps remove toxins and ama from the organs • And many more 5. Included; one Foot Detox, one FAR Infrared Sauna and one PEMF Mat. The idea that we are a reflection of what we think, feel, and consume is at the heart of many holistic healing practices. When we make positive changes to our inner world—whether through mindfulness, emotional healing, or aligning with healthier thoughts—we create space for our bodies to heal and transform as well.
